November 22nd, 1963. I walked home along Georgia Avenue between Wheaton and Silver Spring as St Johns Elementary School let us out early after an announcement over the PA speakers.

Late that afternoon and into the evening I delivered the special edition of the Washington Daily News in the dark as it came out late.

50 years later, on the 50th anniversary of JFK's assassination, I was filming artifacts from that fateful day, including Oswald's rifle, the magic bullet, Oswald's 38 caliber pistol, the actual 8mm Zapruder film and more at the National Archives II in College Park Maryland .
